You cannot answer the phone in a showing. Something should.

It picks up while you are with a client, takes the name, the number and the property they are calling about, and texts you before you are back in the car.

The number above is the line itself. Push it: ask something it cannot know, talk over it, ring at midnight.

When it earns its keep

  • You are in a showing

The phone is face down for forty minutes. The caller who saw your sign rings the next number on the next sign.

  • You are at a closing

Two hours you cannot interrupt, in the middle of the day, when people ring about property.

  • You are driving

Between appointments is most of the day, and a voicemail from a first-time caller is usually the end of it.

  • It is after six

People look at houses in the evening and on Sunday, which is exactly when nobody is at a desk.

What it will not do, on purpose

This is the part most of this industry will not put in writing. An answering service that discusses neighbourhoods, schools, who lives where or what a property is worth is answering for a licensed professional, and in this trade that is not a style choice -- steering a caller is a liability with your name on it.

  • It takes the message. It does not describe an area, compare one to another, or say who lives there.
  • It does not price a property, estimate a value, or say whether an offer is good.
  • It does not advise on financing, inspections, contracts or closing.
  • Anything it cannot answer becomes a message with the question in it, so you answer it yourself.

If you want a line that does more than that, we are the wrong supplier and will say so on the call.

The part after the call

The call is the easy half. What usually goes missing is everything after it: the lead typed into wherever you keep leads, the follow-up that only goes out when you remember, the enquiry that should have reached the agent who has that listing. That is the same work we automate for everyone else, and for an agent or a small brokerage it is usually where the money actually leaks.

$29 a month, one agentPrices in US dollars.

40 calls a month, 14 days free first. For one person with one phone, which is what an agent is: you are not a front desk and should not be paying for one. Start the $29 plan.

$199 a month, a team or a brokerage

400 calls a month and more than one number to answer for. Start the $199 plan.

Quoted with the follow-up automated too

The team line plus everything after the call, priced for your office on a 15-minute call. What that covers.

One real estate business rang this line on 20 September and heard the whole pitch before hanging up. That is why this page exists: not a study, one caller. If that was you, the number is above and it is still us who answers.

Before you ask

  • AI and recording. The line tells callers it is an AI and that the call is recorded, first thing: Florida requires both sides to agree to a recording.
  • Your number stays yours. Calls forward to the line when you do not pick up; nothing about your number changes.
  • No contract. Stop it at the end of any month and the forwarding comes off.
  • The person who builds it answers you. That is why the answer to "can you also do X" is usually a straight yes or a straight no on the call.
